Huntingdon, PA. With 26 years of haunted tour experience and expertise behind them, Lincoln Caverns and Whisper Rocks, near Huntingdon, is busy with preparations for their 27^th Annual Ghosts & Goblins Tours. “Pennsylvania’s most unique haunted house and trail” provides scares, laughs, and even some cave education to thousands of visitors each year. Ghosts & Goblins Tours are open to the public Fridays and Saturdays, October 8^th through 30th. From 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM on Saturdays visitors will enjoy a very special one hour family tour through two beautiful crystal caverns, one haunted and one natural, with just the right mix of surprises and cave information along the way. On Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00 PM till 10:00 PM Lincoln Caverns invites visitors to ‘come explore their horrific dreams’ with a new tour and new themes. This all scary experience includes both the haunted caverns and the increasingly terrifying haunted trail. Both daytime and evening tours provide visitors with two unique experiences for the price of one. Advance tickets for the annual fun-filled Halloween adventure are on sale now. Regular guided tours of the decorated and natural caverns are available 9:00 A.M. till 4:00 P.M. on weekdays.

Each year Lincoln Caverns’ creative staff crafts a new script with new themes for the cavern portion of the tour, keeping the surprises coming even for repeat visitors. Costumed guides explain the wonders and highlights of a haunted Lincoln Caverns with spirited narrative while supporting characters provide humor and horror along the way. During the day an experienced interpreter greets visitors at Whisper Rocks to guide them through the natural beauty and splendor of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful caverns. For those looking for a totally haunted experience, the haunted trail meandering through the woods atop Warrior Ridge replaces Whisper Rocks as the second half of the tour on Friday and Saturday evenings. Tours take place rain or shine, with a special ‘rain alternative’ planned for the haunted trail portion of the tour.

During the daytime tours special care is taken by the staff members to gear the 'fright level' of the tour to the age group of the participants, making Ghosts & Goblins the appropriate Halloween experience for everyone. With this special attention, the tour is ideal for organized groups from Brownies and Cub Scouts to high school youth groups and senior citizens. A Halloween Party Pak for children on Saturday mornings includes all group activities plus a special costume party with Halloween craft, pizza lunch, prizes and treats. Pavilion facilities and party rooms are also available for group outings and October birthday parties. A ‘Friday Night Specials’ is available for corporate and other large groups.

Co-workers and other groups purchasing blocks of 20 or more tickets will receive special group rates not before offered for the evening tours! Advance tickets are required for the Halloween Party Pak, corporate nights, and all other group tours.

Visitors of all ages will enjoy the fall colors while walking Lincoln Caverns’ nature trails, browsing in Raystown Region’s largest souvenir and gift shop, and panning for real gems in the sluice. Tickets for the Ghosts & Goblins tours are sold both in advance and at the door. They may be purchased by mail, by phone, online, or by stopping in at the Visitors’ Center.
